A Little About Me

My name is Daina and I am the face behind Poppy and Paintbrush.

Like my Grandad, I have enjoyed pursuing many different artistic endeavors. From sketching to scrapbooking, painting and stained glass, wood burning and more, I have yet to come across an art form that I don’t love.

Poppy and Paintbrush represents a long artistic legacy held in my family and combines it with my experience and love of teaching.

In this age of technical advancements and busy, fast paced living, I love being able to slow down, wind down and create something with my hands and teaching and encouraging others to do the same. In person craft classes, childrens art club, and craft kits you can do in your home are a few of the ways I do this!
